Get set up
A few quick steps to get the most out of Axis.
This is what you're using

Your running task list
Axis keeps this list too — say “add a task”, “what’s on my list”, or “what should I do first” on a call or a text, and it lands here.
Nothing open — your list is clear.
Social inbox — what people post about you
The post-reading add-on isn't on. Enable it to have Axis read posts, comments, and mentions on your connected accounts. Billed per post, or a flat rate for high-volume pages.
Forms (now Workflows)
Your forms are now workflows. Each one has been copied over automatically and works the same way — Axis asks each field one at a time, reads the answers back, and emails them to you. The difference is that a workflow follows the steps exactly instead of being described to her, so she can't skip a question or finish early.
Edit them under Settings → Workflows, where you can also add decisions, recordings and actions. Everything below is kept so your past submissions stay readable.

Step-by-step tasks Axis runs
Draw how a call should go. Axis follows the steps exactly — she only puts them into words, so she can't skip a question, invent an answer, or send something before you've heard it read back.
Start from
Pick something close to what you want and change the wording — every one of these is a finished, working flow.
Let Axis build it
- Describe it
- Check the steps
- Build it
Say what should happen, the way you'd explain it to a new hire. Axis writes the steps and the wording; you approve every part before anything is saved.
These are the steps Axis will take, in order. Reword anything, drop what you don't need, add what's missing — then build it.
Try this workflow
Type what a caller would say. Nothing is really sent or booked — actions just report what they would have done.

Calendars Axis should check
Unticked calendars are ignored — their events won't block appointment times or show on your calendar.
Connect in one click — you'll sign in on the provider's own page, then you're done.
Add a calendar by link (Google, Outlook, iCloud…)
Paste a calendar's share link, hit Test link, then Subscribe. Add as many as you like — Axis merges them all.
Where do I find my calendar link? (30 seconds)
Google Calendar (do this on a computer — the phone app doesn't show these settings):
- Go to calendar.google.com and sign in.
- Click the gear icon (top-right) → Settings.
- In the left sidebar, under “Settings for my calendars,” click the name of the calendar you want.
- Scroll down to the “Integrate calendar” section.
- Copy the “Secret address in iCal format” (it ends in
/basic.ics) and paste it below.
⚠️ Use the Secret address — not the “Public address” right above it. The Public one only works if you’ve shared your whole calendar publicly, so it usually comes back empty.
Apple iCloud — go to iCloud.com → Calendar → click the share icon next to a calendar → turn on Public Calendar → copy the link.
Outlook / Microsoft 365 — go to outlook.com (on the web) → Settings → Calendar → Shared calendars → publish a calendar → copy the ICS link.
Yahoo & others — open your calendar's website and look for Share, Publish, or Export; copy the address ending in .ics.

Automation
Let Axis work leads and confirm appointments on its own — and decide exactly when it should hand things to a person. You control every word it sends; the defaults are ready to go.
Follow up with leads automatically
When a lead doesn't book, Axis texts a friendly nudge (with real open times + a booking link) on a gentle cadence, then flags anyone who needs a personal touch.
New leads still arrive and are always visible — Axis just waits for you to confirm they're a real customer before sending any follow-up. Leave this off if you'd rather every lead be chased straight away, including overnight.

Confirm appointments with you
Before each appointment, Axis asks you to confirm the time. If it's still unconfirmed close to the start, it can text the customer to pick a new time — so a slot you can't make doesn't sit there dead.

Text delivery
Every text is tracked from send to delivery. Recent failures show up here so nothing slips by silently.

Try Axis
Talk to your assistant exactly as a customer would — on a call, a text, Messenger or email. Nothing is sent to anyone, no lead is filed and nothing lands on your calendar. Use it to shape the wording before a real customer ever writes in.
